Everything you need before your Premier and Design Session
From here to your Premier and Design Session, this guide will walk you through every product option, help you know exactly who you're shopping for, and make sure you arrive ready to design your senior's story.
I had such a great time working with you! It would mean the world to me if you'd take a moment to leave a review over on Google about your experience.
This helps other seniors and families find me, and it allows me to help them have the same great experience you just had. It genuinely makes a difference — and I read every single one.
Leave a Google ReviewClick "Leave a Google Review" above — it'll open my review page in a new tab.
If you're not already signed in, Google will ask you to log in with your account first.
Select a star rating and share a few words about your session — what you loved, what stood out.
Hit submit and you're done! Thank you so much for taking the time.
About one week after your session, we'll have your Premier and Design Session — this is when you get to see your image gallery revealed and view your images for the very first time!
During this time, we'll sit together to live design all of your products. I'll help you design exactly how your albums, image boxes, storyboards, and wall art collections will look, so you know precisely how everything will appear before it's even sent off to my professional print labs.
Since this is the one time we're together to order your products, it's crucial that everyone who wants a say in the decision-making process is there to help! This is when we'll be placing your order and picking which products work best for your family.
Payment or having a payment plan in place is also due this day. Once we've finished your Premier and Design Session, I'll finish designing all of your archive-quality photo products, make sure everything looks perfect, and get them sent off to the lab. I'll check one more time before packaging everything in signature wrapping and letting you know they're ready for pickup!
Your images shouldn't just sit on your phone or in a digital folder — you should be displaying them for everyone you love to see. Portraits document who you are as a person, and that's why we offer custom wall art options for every client.
When you choose a wall art collection, we'll design each piece, whether acrylic or metal, to make sure it's optimized for your space, using live design software so you can see your space come to life before anything is ordered.
If you think you'll be choosing a framed print or wall art collection, please make sure to measure the spaces where you envision installing them, so we can design the collection to fit perfectly in your home.
Before your Premier and Design Session, walk through your home with your phone and snap a few photos of the walls you're considering for wall art. It takes five minutes and makes designing your collection so much easier.
Hold your phone straight on to the wall, not at an angle.
Stand directly in front of the wall and hold your phone parallel to it, rather than off to one side. A straight-on photo gives us the truest sense of proportion, so we can design a collection that actually fits the space.
Avoid shooting from an angle or from across the room.Don't just think about the obvious spots. Walk from room to room and photograph anywhere you could picture a piece hanging: hallways, the end of a hallway, a stairwell wall, above a sofa or console table, an entryway, or a landing.
The more spaces you send, the more options we have to work with together.Back up far enough to get the entire wall in frame, from floor to ceiling, including any furniture, outlets, or light switches nearby. This helps us plan around what's already there.
Before you take each photo, tape a standard 8½ x 11 sheet of paper to the wall so everything can be sized correctly. Then upload your photos to StoryWalls, where you can explore pre-designed wall galleries or design your own. When you save a design to your StoryWalls profile, it's sent to me automatically, or you can email it to me right from StoryWalls.
Upload your walls to StoryWalls (even the blank ones!) at least a few days before your Premier and Design Session to save 5% on your wall art order. When StoryWalls asks for an access code right after your email, enter WOLFWALLS.
Open StoryWallsText or email your wall photos directly to John-Paul Wolf Photography before your Premier and Design Session.

Designed to fit perfectly in your home in any space, we offer metal, acrylic and framed print wall portraits, with canvas available too. Whether you need a whole hallway designed or a nook, we're here to help you display your favorite memories on your home's walls forever.

This is our absolute favorite product since it allows you to have all your portraits in one place. Each album is crafted with the best materials and designed to the highest standards, allowing you to have a beautiful, archive-quality product that can be passed down for generations to come.
Our 9x12 and 14x11 albums can come with metal or acrylic covers, and every album can be upgraded to beautiful deep matte paper.

A constant favorite for all of my clients, the storyboard allows you to have your favorite photos displayed in a collage format ready to be displayed on your wall. Storyboards can be printed on any of the wall art options we offer, including framed or on a bamboo backing for a modern, contemporary feel.

Keepsake Boxes are great for coffee or entryway tables and come with 20 or 30 of your favorite prints mounted in a heirloom-quality wood box. These can either be framed, or (my personal recommendation) displayed on an easel so you can rotate them throughout the year and never worry about having the same exact photo displayed all the time.
Print Boxes offer a unique way to display your images and a stylish method of preserving them. They come in 8x10 or 5x7 to perfectly hold your mounted photographic prints.

Crystal Blocks are an elegant and classy take on a traditional framed portrait for your side table. Printed on inch-thick acrylic, they're an instant eye-catcher and make the perfect gift for friends and family that's sure to be a conversation piece.
Bamboo Frames hold a 5x7 or 6x6 metal print, and additional metal prints can be swapped in and out of the frame anytime, so you can rotate your favorites throughout the year.

We know how important digital files are to our clients, and that's why we're pleased to offer these in our two top collections. Your digital images are delivered on a cloud card, a beautifully designed card that fits right in your wallet. Just tap it to your phone to open your gallery, where you can view, download and share your images.
When you choose a collection with digital files, they also come with a personal print release, so you have the option of printing these as needed for family and friends up to 11x14 in size.
Select a person below and we'll suggest the products that tend to work best for them.

A multi-image collage on a warm bamboo backing — a gallery-style keepsake for their wall.

A dressed-up display piece for a side table or bookshelf, far more elegant than a standard print.

A bamboo frame with swappable metal prints, so they can rotate photos throughout the year.
Also great: if your collection includes digital images, an additional cloud card gives them their own tap-to-open copy of your gallery.

A gallery wall arrangement built for their entryway or living room.

The complete story in one archive-quality keepsake to pass down for generations.

Twenty or thirty favorites they can rotate on a coffee table easel all year long.
Also great: if your collection includes digital images, an additional cloud card gives them their own tap-to-open copy of your gallery.

A smaller collage format that's perfect for a bedroom or dorm wall.

A modern, compact display piece that fits any desk or shelf.

A tabletop frame with swappable metal prints, easy to update with new favorites on a desk or nightstand.

An easy, giftable size that looks great on any surface.

A fun collage of favorite moments together — ready to display as-is.

A statement piece designed specifically for your bedroom or favorite space.

Full digital access with print release, ready for your phone, laptop, or socials.

A rotating personal favorites collection you can keep evolving over time.
As you look through the product guide, jot down what you're thinking of ordering, who it's for, and where it's going. Bring this list with you to your Premier and Design Session to help guide the conversation.
We'll be placing your order during this time, which means everyone who wants a say in the final decision should be there — mom, dad, grandparents, siblings, whoever you want involved. Send them a reminder!
When designing your wall art, it's important to know how big of a space we're working with. Tape a standard 8½ x 11 sheet of paper to the wall, take a photo, and upload it to StoryWalls at least a few days before your Premier and Design Session to save 5% on your wall art order (access code WOLFWALLS). Unsure where you'll be putting your wall art? Take a photo of any common area — we're here to help!
Have any existing wall art, albums, or portrait products in your home that you need to match? Take note of these and snap a photo. We work with many of the top labs in the country and are able to match these as needed.
Make sure to review pricing ahead of time so there are no surprises on the day. You'll find every collection and product in detail on my senior price list.
We can't wait to see you at your Premier and Design Session.
This is when we'll sit down together at my studio to go over all of your images. This is also when you'll select your favorite images and where I'll help you design all of your portrait products, so you know exactly how everything will look before it's even sent off to the print labs. You'll be placing your order this day, too. Fun fact: my studio is also my home, so you'll get to meet my labradoodle, Bernie!
Please plan for your Premier and Design Session to take about 60–90 minutes. How long it lasts depends on how well you've prepared by following the details in this guide, and how quickly you're able to select your favorites — most clients are done within this time frame.
We accept all major credit cards, cash, or checks for your senior portrait orders. We also have payment plans available in 6 or 12 month increments.
Please allow up to 4 weeks for all of your portrait products to be ready, as we source everything from the best labs — sometimes this means they're coming from European print labs.
Due to the custom nature of your portrait order and how quickly the labs begin printing, all orders are final. That's exactly why we do this together — so you can get all of your questions answered, see the products, and make sure everything is absolutely perfect before we're done. That said, you're always welcome to add to your order anytime.
All of our products come with a lifetime guarantee for anything outside of normal wear and tear. While extremely rare, if a product ever malfunctions — like an album binding coming loose or wall art mounting separating — just give us a call and we'll get it replaced, no questions asked.
If you loved your experience, chances are someone in your life is about to start their own senior photo search. Send them my way! When they mention your name as they book, you'll both receive $50 toward your order.
Just have them mention your name when they book
